A: The tour is open to everyone. We think Halal Tourism is for everyone. In fact, we believe it is for everyone, irrespective of religious persuasion. Have you seen people of other faiths eating from the Halal table at corporate events? I am sure most have. Halal is much more than a permissible meal. It includes the prohibition of pork and alcohol. Halal prescribes for animals to be slaughtered in a humane and ethical manner, in a clean environment. Halal is undoubtably an obligation for Muslims. But many people of other faiths have no issue with Halal. For this reason, we believe that Halal Tourism appeals to people of other faiths too. The Halal meals, the exotic tastes, the alcohol-free environment, the conservative lifestyle… these appeal to people from all walks of life.
A: Single ladies are more than welcome. In fact, most of our ex-travellers were single women. Where possible, we arrange for single ladies to share twin or triple rooms to keep costs down. In our experience, single ladies grouped together forge close ties during the tour and leave for home as close friends.
A: Our more matured traveller is not only welcome but is encouraged to join the tour. All our tours are specially designed not to be too strenuous on the not-too-young-at-heart. Furthermore, we allow more than enough time and space during tours and programmes for everyone to keep up with the pace. People of all ages and welcome to join the tour, including infants and children.
A: We decided against Morocco as:
we would not be doing justice to all the wonderful sights in Spain and Morocco due to a packed itinerary.
it would have entailed too much travelling especially in Morocco.
concentrating on one country (Spain) allows us a more relaxed travel experience and enough time to see all the major sights as well as some off-the-beaten track destinations.
A: Bookings opened on 9 November 2019 and closes on 31 January 2020. We cannot accept late bookings as the Schengen visa application takes about 4 weeks.
A: No. We only require a per-person deposit of R12,000 to hold your booking. This deposit will be applied towards the cost of your package. You may pay the balance in instalments but the full balance must be paid by 31 January 2020.
A: Yes. You are allowed to return home at a later date, subject to the additional costs for the flight change, extra accommodation, airport transfer and private tour costs. Let us know and we will gladly quote you for the additional stay.
A: The best time to visit Spain is typically in the spring (March to May) or during autumn (September to November). At these times, you’ll likely find fewer crowds, cheaper accommodations, and the best weather (even for hitting the beach!). Due to moderate temperatures and room rates, March to May and September to November are considered to be the best time to visit Istanbul. During this period, you won’t be wrestling with crowds while rejoicing in a bicycle ride or enjoying the sunset Bosphorus cruise.
A: On the outbound journey, you will only spend 2 hours in transit at Istanbul airport. There is no transit time on the return journey as you will have a direct flight from Istanbul home!
A: It’s always important to stay safe whilst travelling, and travel insurance provides a security in case something goes wrong whilst travelling. As the saying goes: “If you fail to plan, you plan to fail.” We would recommend a discounted group travel insurance policy or a comprehensive individual policy that caters for your individual needs.
